What is the difference between a massage at a Health Spa Resort, and a massage from a private massage therapist/bodyworker?

I recently learned that at a popular resort on Fort Myers Beach, FL, a 50 minute massage costs $105!!  Why, I asked?   The ambiance, the ocean view, and the fact that you get to wear a nice bathrobe with slippers!  I am way below that in price, but I am convinced that I am way above that in your massage experience.

OK, thats nice.  What about the massage itself?  I am sure its relaxing, and a beautiful young lady in her 20's, or 30's is doing the massage, but...If that is what you are looking for, then thats great!  This is especially true if you don't care to have an older, more experienced massage therapist working on you, esp since I am a male.  Many males don't care to have a male therapist touching them.  I understand that.  On the other hand, I have had many male clients.  More males are not concerned about the gender of the therapist, and are more interested in just getting a high quality massage-one where their muscles are really getting worked on, instead of a nice, fluffy, buffy, soft touch by a beautiful young lassie.

What is the advantage of using me, a gray headed, tanned 56 year old, athletically built male who looks at least 10 years younger, and acts his shoe size?

1. I am an R.N.  I have a background in the medical side, as well as the natural healing side of health.

2. I get in fairly deep.  It also depends on your preferences.  I can pretty much gauge how much pressure you can handle, based on your past experience getting massages, and your body type and build.

3. I use Young Living Essential Oils in all of my massages.  I use Magnesium Oil as well.  I work on you with the goal of getting you relaxed and out of pain.  I am limited by the clock, but I don't stop at 50 minutes.  My sessions often go overtime, usually an avg of 15-20 minutes over! (and I don't charge you extra for it!) 

4. I can share information with all of my clients about their medications, or supplements, and can recommend anything if asked.  If I don't know, I will point you toward a physician or credible source of information.

5. I understand the modesty issue.  I always leave the room when you are getting ready and under the sheets.  I respect your boundries. If I feel the knead to massage the glutes for example, I always let you know and ask first if this is comfortable for you.  This may occur with lower back pain where massage of the glutes is a necessity.  I don't require that you remove your underwear, but being in your "Birthday Suit" does make a massage much more effective and enjoyable.  Rest assured, your modesty is important.  I don't wish to lose my license and as a nurse, i understand this issue.

I am concerned about Women's Health Issues, because that is such a big profit center for mainstream drugging and surgeries.  I have seen a lot of women who have fallen victim to the pharmaceutical approach, since I have been an R.N. working inside and outside of the medical field since 1991.  I know what a lot of the drugs can do to the human body.   I can refer you to experts in their field who are even more knowlegable than me in this area of drugging.  Our country is turning into a population of "drug heads"!  Please question everything your health expert tells you-including what I tell you!  By the way, I am not a health expert.  I am a health nut!  I enjoy being healthy and I do not take any drugs for  anything, especially including imaginary diseases like 'high cholesterol!  We have health classes every Tuesday night at 7 pm.  You can email me or call for details as to time and place.
