As an R.N. for 16 years, ten of which was spent in home health nursing, I have observed the horrible effects of modern medical treatments, particularly regarding women and mainline breast cancer treatments.  It all starts with the yearly mammogram.  If upon finding a suspicious lump, the protocol is to go to a breast biopsy, then lumpectomy, or even radical mastectomy, and radiation, and chemotherapy.  If the latter route is taken, it is at this point, that home health nurses are called in.  They come to help the patient manage her new lymphadema, in which the arm on the same side as the amputated breast gets swollen to about twice its normal size.  This occurs,  along with scarring from the breast amputation, and radiation therapy.  Nurses also have to teach the patient about controlling nausea, and vomiting from the chemo, with zofran, a very expensive anti-nausea drug, not to mention instructing her on tamoxifan, a drug that inhibits the secretion of estrogen, and which has been proven not to work, in preventing further cancer.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.  There is a whole marketing campaign out there for more research into finding the "cure".  What a scam!

There are no cures in modern medicine, and never have been, because as my physician father once said, "There is no money in cures." When you take a look at modern medicine's history of 'finding the cure' for anything, you will find that there haven't been any cures that have ever been found.  So called "cures" in the past for other diseases, were never really found because:  1. Drugs do not cure anything.  They only suppress pain or other symptoms.  2.  Modern medicine is not taught to look into a nutritional deficiency, or drug/chemical cause of disease.  3.  Modern medicine is based on the "germ theory" which advocates looking for a bacterial or viral cause to disease.  4. Modern medicine completely ignores the acid vs. alkaline connection to disease.

I am against modern medical treatments in the diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer.  I believe it to be draconian, barbaric, and even mutilating to the beautiful body of a female.  Despite BILLIONS of dollars being poured into the American Cancer Society, and Natl. Inst. of Health, and Natl. Cancer Inst., there is still "no cure" that has been found, according to the A.M.A., and F.D.A., and NIH, and ACS.  This is pure hogwash.  Currently, there are hundreds of common sense, non-invasive, non poisoning, or mutilating means and methods of not only preventing breast cancer-but in regressing it.  It is hushed by the mainstream media.  Why?  Because there is no money in cures.  The pharmaceutical juggernaut makes billions from cancer, esp breast cancer.  If it was found that simple herbs, foods, essential oils, and other God given modalities worked in preventing, and regressing breast cancer, that would pull profits out of the breast cancer industry.  Isn't that diabolical?
